Lisa Hart The intensity of this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces can not be overstated. I know we are weary of intensity and the only solace I can give is that this Moon calls STRONGLY for DreamTime and resting in the Waters of Love, Restoration and Cleansing. When the Moon is eclipsed by the Earth’s Shadow it gives us a pause from the Moon’s Light and influence which serves as a re-boot for our emotional and Etheric Body. The Piscean influence in it’s final degrees creates an energy of super-duper intuition, charged full (punny) of Cosmic Wisdom. This is a deeply, deeply intuitive and inward Moon. Dreamy and soft, this Moon holds Peace, Power and Magic with the intention for transmutation and alchemy.

With yesterday’s Full Moon in Pisces (9/17/2024) we are running out of superlatives. How else can we say it? Intense, strong, powerful, potent, super-duper, mega Full Moon in Pisces with Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, 3 degrees away in Pisces, Retrograde (Rx) in the last degrees of Pisces as the Moon is at perigee (closest to the Earth) AND during a partial Lunar Eclipse! All of these many factors on their own increase the potency of the Full Moon, so much more so when all are happening at once. Let’s just all go back to bed and rest, sleep, dream and play in the Dreamtime. Alternatively, we can immerse ourselves in Nature or any creative endeavor as long as we come from a place of Heart and openness without judgement or the need for a definitive outcome. This caveat places stress on the Virgo Sun that opposes this Moon, as well as creating tension for Mercury in Virgo which, at the time of this Full Moon, is opposing Saturn Rx in Pisces. Virgo’s call to discern and create practical steps is best used at this time to apply healing therapies and to align our energy systems with the times. Use Virgo’s daily call for order to create ablutions of cleansing, aligning and clearing so that we can receive the Cosmic Wisdom clearly and keep our systems from overwhelm. Let’s channel Virgo’s need to organize into how we are going to sprinkle self care and Sacred Pauses throughout each day.
Mars in Cancer and Ceres (Earth Mother) in Capricorn square the Nodes making a configuration called a Grand Cross. The Moon Nodes speak to our soul’s journey and task at this time. The Aries North Node seeks to spark and initiate a journey authentic to Self while the South Node points to the Libra Shadow of people pleasing and harmony-at-all-costs that we are wanting to release. Mars, ruler of Aries, in Cancer (Home and Family) squaring the Aries/Libra axis is asking us to clear childhood imprints and Family of Origin conditionings. We are aided in this task to break out of ancestral patterns and release old Karma by Uranus Rx in Taurus trine Pluto (Our Unconscious/Soul) Rx Capricorn both still sextile to that extremely exalted (powerful) Neptune Rx in Pisces.
Issues that come up may be around Cancer themes of rebirthing, reparenting and clearing old unconscious imprints and outdated energetic ties surrounding mothering/parenting and Mother wounds. Our Maternal lines are coming up to clear and cleanse anything emotionally unresolved which may cause triggers. There may be outbursts and anger as Mars wants to express directly and forcefully defend Home (Cancer). Breaking away (Uranus Rx) may not be peaceful and this will feel uncomfortable and unpleasant for the Libra South Node. There are several other signatures in this chart which express a Libra discomfort. She wants to keep peace and go with others, not out on her own for her own needs or desires (North Node in Aries). Choices we make for our self care may not make sense to others until months in the future. Our path of self mastery won’t be based on other people’s terms or what is expected of us.
How we feel (Cancer) may not work well with connecting with others (Libra). We may feel off, as if our energies don’t align with others. As best we can, bring in a strong Piscean view of no right/no wrong. Practicing non-attachment we know that no one’s energy is right or wrong. A mismatch does not mean anything is bad or wrong and will most certainly change and adjust over time. This practice is another act of resistance and reprograming from our cultural conditioning of blame and shame.

Water sources to clear our energy, salt water baths, bathing in sea water, standing by a waterfall and movement all help Mars in Cancer to shift aggression or anger into assertion or quiet confidence. As best we can, may we approach issues with mature, emotional wisdom and the self mastery that Ceres in Capricorn holds for us.
Pluto Rx in Capricorn is strongly highlighted during this Full Moon as well as over the next few months. As the Lord of the Underworld completes his long process of maturation and restructuring in Capricorn (since 2008) remember the huge heart on the surface of Pluto reminding us that our plunge into the depths is to purge and clear the detritus so that we can feel and know the Deep Love, Beauty and Bliss that we are and that we have access to at each moment.
A Grand Trine in Earth created by the Sun in Virgo, Uranus Rx in Taurus and Pluto Rx in Capricorn brings us MUCH needed stability, grounding and support to bring into reality our intentions and our visions. Be oh, so clear about what you are focusing on and ask yourself, is this what I want more of? Is this what I want to bring into reality? As best you can use the coming months for centering, observing, stillness and going inward for intuitive messages. By building our inner structure (Earth) we will create the safety and solidity we need to go out and do what scares us or go inward to calm what shakes us.
We may feel super tired and/or have brain fog due to all of the Water in this Celestial Imprint, so strongly expressing Pisces and Cancer. There is a lot of support to cleanse, ground and heal our bodies, and energy systems, especially our immune system (Pisces) and our nervous system (Virgo) as well as our digestive system (Cancer). Mercury in Virgo is quite stressed so it maybe best not to talk about it just yet. Feel your way through. Use indirect means and ritual to communicate such as music, dance, sign language and energetic practices such as active imagination and qigong. Dreamwork is highly indicated.
The image I chose for this post is perfectly evocative of this Moon’s energy. The moonlight shimmers, iridescent, on water as it emerges through the foggy surrounds. The ethereal nature of this Moon’s transmissions are bounded by Earth and the promise of solid, safe shores. The misty clouds hold an Angel, a Child of Love in their midst, part promise, part guardian; born of the Sun, Moon and Earth. Many of the people I follow for spiritual guidance brought up the quality of Light on Water for this Full Moon. Sunlight, Moonlight on water and many light themes were expressed. Rainbow light, and the quality of light as prismatic and holding infinite colors within as well as the expansion of the Light Body and the light in each of our cells were common themes. May these images give you peace, comfort and guidance in the coming months. Eclipses seed a six month process so go easy and remember, we are in accelerated times, best to pace ourselves and bring kindness to all we do.
